Good Morning America must read DU because they just reported the same thing. ‘..they found a Jim Holmes in Colorado who is party of the Tea Party...’ It is all over Facebook now, I’ve seen at least a dozen posts about a ‘tea party type’. One recent one said: “It’s been reported several times he had ties to The Tea Party and how many people would you like that group to kill before we tie it to their hatred and violence?”
They set that story line quickly.
I feel sorry for this poor Jim Holmes who isn’t the shooter being tied to this.
Can he sue for defamation?
He should come out with a statement like: “Pathetic try, Democrats. You try to make everything a political opportunity. And, yes, I include the press.”
