This segment of Ann Romney's ABC interview this morning has gone viral on the Left and in the MSM. It's about forty-four seconds in. It is being spun as snobbery and class-consciousness. If FR hadn't been down this morning, it probably would have been extensively discussed.

The legal requirement for POTUS candidates is one year of tax returns be made public.

I couldn't care less whether or not Romney releases his income tax returns. As far as I am concerned, Mitt Romney's refusal to do so is the only thing that makes this story at all interesting.

Why should "you people" be denied the opportunity to learn more about his financial history? What is he ashamed of?

I don't pretend to have any answers to those questions, but his attitude strikes me as just plain weird.
