Chip, I have not read your posts re: the molestation charge but it should not be admissable. Even if true, they were both children and has nothing to do with this case. And I have a real problem with the story. I am not calling her a liar and I know there is alot I do not know but........ there are problems with this story I think. The jury surely will not hear any of this hopefully.
So why would the prosecution want her as a witness at all. They can't possibly think that she would help their case in the least. I think they did it because she is a Zimmerman after all and this further disparages the Zimmerman clan.
Some very vile stuff has been posted about Witness 9. Whether one believes her or not, it did not warrant the nasty comments that are offensive to those who have survived childhood molestation.
Some posters seriously try to justify his behavior ... they were just ‘playing doctor’. This had nothing to do with equal curiosity. If it was that easy to explain it away, children wouldn’t be sexually abused.
An 8-year-old “molester” is most certainly ‘acting out’ some form of abuse that he has suffered himself. What needs to be remembered is that rape and molestation is about power, not sex.
I wonder how long Zimmerman has been taking psychotropic medications. It’s creepy that he has a tattoo on his chest of a cross with the name “Christina”.
