The “logic” behind the ban is simple and stupid. If young men favor using a type of knife in crime, outlaw the knife and the crime will go away. It is incredible to me that legislators actually bought into this stupidity, but it is a microcosm of the entire “ban an inanimate object to limit human behavior” idiocy. It fairly shrieks out “progressive”.

arms control law are meant to control the law abiding people. Criminals will always use whatever weapon they want because let’s face it, they are criminals.

The result is always the criminal is left to do what they normally do and the law abiding guy loses his freedom.
