I think napscoordinator was referring to the state of the primary race at the time the Republican Establishment forced Santorum out for their boy, Romney.

We were told over and over that Romney was the only one that could win. OK, D-fender, now that they have forced him down our throats, he had damn well better win, or we will lose our country.

It would take more research to see if that claim is correct either.

But I don’t remember having anyone forced down my throat and can’t think of any other FReepers who did.
