safest NATURAL remedies-—buy some tart cherry juice...it contains a safe level of melatono\in, which promotes sleep...if you buy Melatonin in the vitamin section of the store, the dosage is getnerally TOO HIGH and can cause nightmares! MAX dose of merlatonin in captule form should not exceed 0.3 milligrams...
Warm milk contains tryptophan...which induces sleep (oour grandmothers werent wrong ;-)
Peppermint tea is also good to aid sleep....
If you do take over the counter sleep aids...I highly recommend UNISOM, but READ THE LABEL! Some Unisom is nothing more than benadryl (dyphenhydramine)...that is NOT the one you want.....get the one “Doxylamine Succinate”...that one is NON habit forming and you dont awaien with a “hangover” (It is also the one used for intractable morning sickness,,,since it is similar to the old Bendictine)....

Thanks a LOT. I used to be skeptical about the natural approach until recently. I have struggled with HBP for years. Diovan HCT would only get the numbers down to 130+/88+. A couple of months ago I started taking 1000mg of Arginine three times a day. The BP is now consistently running 112/70.

Have taken Fish Oil for cholesterol for years, but I don't think of that in the same terms as herbs.
