Yeah, me too, but Alda runs a close second.
And if I remember correctly, Wayne Rogers was somewhat conservative and made a fortune in real estate and other investments after he left the show.
The show went from "Preachy" to "Outright Propaganda" when Alda started directing it.
Trapper (Wayne Rogers) is a regular guest on the Fox Business channel.
Forgot that he is decent guy too.
[on working with Alan Alda] If I wanted a sermon I'd go to church. He just wouldn't quit. He just kept adding more speeches and more moralistic stuff. After he got famous, he got really pompous. He started thinking he was speaking God's words--not the lines in the script, not his own personal thoughts. He thought he was speaking the words of God. I think he thought and believed that God was speaking through him. A person like that is not easy to be around.

I wonder how much “BJ” would like really being a communist.
Take away everything he owns. Give him a small apartment, just like everyone else. Tell him where he will work, what he will do, and when. Say he will be provided with everything he needs, but the state cannot provide. Everything he produces goes to the state. Take away ALL rights, even of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Tell him who he can marry and how many children they can have.

Trapper John was the best, I actually saw him on Fox news, he is a very sucessful businessman. Has made a fortune in agriculture and real estate. Leans conservative. Always thought Mike Farrel was a lousy actor, his character added nothing to the show.
“Cashin’ in.” The last of the four Saturday morning shows. Jonathon Honig is also on that show. We like them both.
I would be happy to help Blow Job Hunnicut pack and move to Cuba nd leave us out of his grand scheme and he can live his dream there.
This is a great resource for those who want to know about the real Cuba:

He was a piss-poor replacement for Trapper John, just as ALL the replacements sucked. Potter, Winchester, and even the re-vamped Hot Lips all were inferior to their counterparts.
MASH went from entertainment to preaching AT its audience.
And Linville was constantly berated by his liberal co-stars. It made his work unbearable. I’ve met a few people who knew him and EVERY one of them said he was a hell of a guy.
That’s not suprising.
It lasted 4 years. After ‘74 it went downhill and increased it’s speed as time when on. Henry Morgan and Alan Alda were all that was left after Henry, Trap, Frank, and Radar left.
I knew it was Farrell as soon as I saw the headline. He’s an assclown.
Bulls and Bears.
He runs his own investment firm.
I actually researched him a little a few years back and remember being impressed.
Being stuck around a bunch of liberals in a work environment is really tough sometimes. I can relate as well as many can.
