If one believes in the “legs of the stool” of traditional Republicanism as Reagan described, RINO is a succinct and clear term.
I’ve long said Bolton would be an excellent Sec. of State - but I know his views on the UN and his knowledge of its inner workings when he was temporary Ambassador to the UN - he’d be good at that as well.
RINO is too subjective a term and I believe that the legs of the stool refer to conservatism.
