I fully agree. There’s no budging the black vote away from Obama. Even if Cain had been the man, I doubt blacks would have crossed over. Maybe a black GOP vs. a white Dem, but no other way.

At least recruiting a conservative Hispanic would get some break in to that voting bloc.

Now I must state that I do deplore the fact that we have to play voters as blocs, but that’s just how it is.

On top of all that Condi failed to impress me. I was very optimistic when Bush picked her to run NSA, but as time went on, and she moved to State she just got worse and worse. At State in particular she was completely co-opted by the bureaucracy and forgot to be loyal to her president rather than the department.
