Video captures the moment two Syrian army tanks are destroyed by rebel fighters in ambush

It is a video which demonstrates the true horror and unpredictability of war. A convoy of Syrian army tanks are captured being attacked by rebel fighters as they travel close to the Turkish-Syrian border. Two appear to hit anti-tank mines, with one also targeted by what seems to be a powerful projectile.

I watched the video, I don't see it.

One definitely hits a mine. Seems to have lost a track and damaged several of the road wheels. The explosion was definitely under the tank. Must've caused internal damage because later we see flames coming out of either a hatch on the hull or from around the main gun.

The second one seems to be hit by an RPG or ATGM. Given the relatively small warhead detonation, probably an RPG. The impact and explosion are on the front slope. The "splash" goes off to the right, indicating the shooter is probably over the left shoulder of the camera operator. Note, the camera operator did not take cover from the attack, indicating which side he/she was probably on... The anti-tank round did not (significantly) penetrate the armor, though it did start a small fire (paint?) on the front slope. The tank was still mobile, probably still combat ready.

The upshot is, only looks like one mine, not two. More sloppy reporting, which is what we've come to expect from MSM outlets.

PS, poor choice on the part of the attackers to take a shot at the front of the tank. No-doubt a few seconds before they probably had a side-on aspect and could've hit the tank in the side. Generally the armor is thickest on the front. They might have had a chance of penetration/success from the side.

First tank is spouting fire through the mantlet -- indicative of an internal inferno.

Second tank has flame visible through the hull penetration -- then the internal ammo store cooks off.

Both crews are crispy critters...

BTW, all the Youtube clips I've seen freeze when the second tank explodes -- although they run on for nearly a minute. Wonder why that is...?

The mindless muzzies holler "allahu akbar!" no matter what happens. If you deleted it from their vocabulary, they would be as devoid of speech as a rapper homeboy would be without profanity.

Classic empty-headed behavior... That's what makes them scary: the vast majority of them are empty-skull zombies with a death wish...
