Cold Fusion Is Hot Again - Tuesday, July 17th 9p | 12a ET "A report on cold fusion - nuclear energy like that which powers the sun, but made at room temperatures on a tabletop, which in 1989, was presented as a revolutionary new source of energy that promised to be cheap, limitless and clean but was quickly dismissed as junk science. Today, scientists believe that cold fusion, now most often called low temperature fusion or a nuclear effect, could lead to monumental breakthroughs in energy production."

The data on this phenomenon is very consistent — the heat generated is several orders of magnitude more than could be possible with any known chemical reaction.

You poor girl. How long have you been making this silly claim. 6 months? A year? Longer?

It took me 5 minutes and an old high school chemistry book to show you that hydrogen peroxide, less concentrated than the bottle in my bathroom, could provide the heat needed.

I have no idea if the rest of the demos used H2O2.

I have no idea if Rossi did.

I do know that your ridiculous claim that no chemical reaction (by orders of magnitude!) could provide the "excess energy", would get a high school chemistry student an F on a test.

***Bowlsheet. Input water has been tested on dozens, actually hundreds of experiments. No H202. So what does your old high school chemistry textbook have to say now? If you know it’s water in, water out, what kind of energy is available for chemical reactions? Not much. By orders of magnitude.

So, go on, LOLgirl. Prove your contention that H202 accounts for the heat generated in this phenomenon. Go ahead. Prove it.

You do not because you cannot. All it takes to prove you wrong is to show that the input water was tested, and that has happened on dozens, hundreds of experiments. Go on, look up your old chemistry books, LOLgirl.

EVERYONE

I have no idea why you are arguing this. The real-deal scientists will eventually confirm or deny that the effect is real, and that it is productive enough to be useful...

...or not.

Patience!

Be careful not to hit it, Laz. All that excess energy is likely to zap you where it hurts the most.

Prove your contention that H202 accounts for the heat generated in this phenomenon.

I don't need to, I just need to show that a chemical reaction could easily produce the energy, to refute your silly claim.

Well, now. It looks like you skeptopaths were successful in your attempt at vigilante censorship for this thread:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3128874/

and since it was brought up in that thread that you abandoned your argument here on this particular thread, you seek to repair this strategic error on your part.

So, why should I cooperate with you? You were instrumental in getting that thread pulled. That is obviously your desire.

You made a ridiculous claim. I easily refuted it. I have no need to repair anything.

Tell you what, to repair your reputation, show how my math was mistaken.

Please do not post to me. I’m asking politely, just like I have asked the other guys who “populate” the LENR threads. They don’t seem to want to be known as conservative freepers. Do you? The mod said that such people who harrass others are not conservative. Are you? Please don’t post to me on LENR threads.

Feel free to continue the discussion. I doubt you will.

It was Kevmo's profanities which got the thread pulled. Now he's claiming that he's the victim.

The mod said that such people who harrass others are not conservative.

Neither are people who whine and try to get LENR threads in the religion forum.

Disproving your silly claim is not harassment. If you can refute my math, I'll stop posting to you on your silly threads.

Baloney. And now you guys are trying to get this old thread pulled. You guys are such tremendous liars and jerks.

Point out where the admin mod said that. You can't, because it is not true -- it's just your ridiculous opinion among other ridiculous opinions all across these LENR threads. I have tried to get protection from the pack of trolls that follow me around on LENR threads, but the mods have been very one sided. Of course, that could be because one of them was among you at one point. He didn't have near enough the background to back up his position on LENR, and simply stopped posting.

I DID refute your math. It is UTTERLY impossible that H202 can account for all the LENR excess heat anomalies. The chances of that are about (1/3)^14,700, which comes to 1 in 10^4550, and keep in mind that the mathematical DEFINITION of impossible is 1 in 10^50. That is how far off you are. By HUNDREDS of ORDERS of MAGNITUDE.

Is it the role of the scientist to deny?

“I have no idea why you are arguing this”

It is not an argument when you point out the truths and lies.
