Any Arms Trade Treaty must be adopted by two-thirds of the U.S. Senate, which has 100 members.

Bull$hit, and he knows it. It takes 2/3 of "THE SENATORS PRESENT" which can legally be as few as 34, and if he thinks Harry Reid won't slam this monster through in the dark of night he should be fired, right now.

Let there be no confusion. Any treaty that includes civilian firearms ownership in its scope will be met with the NRA’s greatest force of opposition.

Those are weasel words Mr. LaPierre, because this can be read two ways. What about MILITARY firearms ownership: assault rifles or .50 caliber?

If the UN. ...er...make that ANY UN law tries to govern me, consider me a lawbreaker.

Any UN dork ...or any other trying to enforce any UN law on my property well be considered a target.

The treaty has been classified as an international effort to attack the Second Amendment in the United States Constitution.

The Second Ammendment does not grant the right to bear arms. It merely reminds the Federal government that they are prohibited from messing around with a "Natural Right". Repealing any of the Bill of Rights would have no affect on the existance of those rights. It would only cause the Second American Civil War.

Americans Will Never Surrender the Second Amendment but our "leaders" might. At least they will try. However, I firmly believe that a treaty cannot amend the Constitution and if a treaty does not pass Constitutional muster, it is null and void. One might even go as far as to say that signing such a treaty would be a violation of the oath of office and therefore an Impeachable offense.

Its not the Americans that will surrender the 2nd Amendment — it may be POTUS and Congress and they not necessarily represent the American people.

The Zero regime does whatever it wants at whim, they have no shame hiding Fast and Furious scandal, so they’ll surely sign this. Yes, do it. Be that stupid. Anyone who puts their name on it voting ‘yea’ will be documented for future exploits in the name of freedom. A fight is coming regardless, so if now is the time, bring it.
