Romney is not, nor was ever a Conservative.
He is for bannign guns, homosexual marriage, Romneycare/Obamacare.
He speaks out both sides of his mouth AND other orifices.
At the same time.

But hey, we’re supposed to just follow him, right?
And then what?
What will you say when he starts his liberal pandering AGAIN?
Will you apologize, or will you go full rabid zealot on us for opposing him just as much as we opposed Obama’s liberal actions?
The choice between two evils is still evil.

We had Conservatives in this race, people like you chased them out.
Or frauded them out of delegates, like in Florida.
And we are not suposed to notice this or say anything?
Bite me.

I agree.

He is for banning guns, homosexual marriage, Romneycare/Obamacare.

Romney is presently campaigning against all three of these things. Obama is in favor of all three. Those are the facts.

But hey, we’re supposed to just follow him, right?

No.

And then what?

My proposal is simple and has remained unchanged throughout this whole election (and prior elections as well). I think that conservatives need to take over control of the GOP from the grassroots up. We nominate true conservatives wherever possible in our primaries, then we support the GOP up and down the ticket on election day, then we hold all GOP officeholders accountable to conservative principles while in office, and target the RINOs in the primaries during the next cycle.

Rinse and repeat.

This approach is working. It is the only approach that can work. All of the doom-mongering is for fools and fantasists and commie double-agents.

The fact that we didn't get a conservative GOP nominee for President this cycle is to a certain extent a tragedy, but it does not justify abandoning reason.

We had Conservatives in this race, people like you chased them out.

Bullsnort! All of our declared candidates were deeply flawed. I worked for two of them (Cain and then Gingrich). I was ABR throughout the primaries and only became ABO once Romney pulled away with the nomination.

If you start by learning to say fewer false things, you might eventually learn to say fewer crazy and stupid things.
