Oh yeah...I've got rainbows of Romney repeals shooting out my posterior. Doing a happy dance thinking about how all that is going to happen, straight up!

I can't wait for Christmas as well, I was promised by a used car salesman that I would get a just like new VW van..only used once, at woodstock, by a nice little old lady with a flower in her hair.

We have to get the Congress, and get it BIGTIME.

The way to win Congress big-time is to get behind ALL of the GOP nominees (including Romney), get positive, and get busy.

The Mitt-bashing that goes on here 24/7 wastes time and energy, divides conservatives against one another, and hurts our chances for conservative victory up and down the ticket.

Wow. Windflier, even a year ago I'd have said that such sentiment below was over the top.

But indeed, I find myself in agreement with you 100 percent and it is gratifying to read your words, words that I admit I don't quite have the courage to muster on my own. I share your contempt for these so-called "leaders," and I expect that you are as sad as I am about it. Well said, FRiend -- sad, tragic, heartbreaking, and WELL SAID:

These armchair patriots, sitting in their ivory towers, make me sick. They have no ability (or courage) to connect word with deed. They're unworthy to even speak the Founders' names, in my opinion.

These men and women who exhort us to roll over for the establishment, need to take a long hard look in the mirror and see what's looking back at them. We are at a make-break point in our history, yet they suggest we support the perfumed ruling class' choice for president. Scoundrels. Cowards. Deceivers. Weak-kneed, pablum spouting losers. Thomas Paine would spit in their faces if he heard them.

I believe he would. Rush and Levin are so much less than I thought they were. I stopped listening several months ago -- have been tuning in instead (during the few times of the day I can listen) to a wonderful religious station, nearly all of whose programs are very inspiring -- and I live for when circumstances allow my listening to J. Vernon McGee!

Truly, it helps put all this sadness and disappointment into perspective.

I'll vote for Romney in the general, and I won't be disappointed if he loses because that's what Republican’s excel at. I noticed Stephen King from Iowa this week is voting in favor of wind subsidies because it brings jobs to Iowa. It's just spoils as usual. No debt crisis. Just get me mine.

"I am going ask the question that Mark Levin asked last week, who would be the candidate to replace Romney at the convention.

Palin has said she is not interested. I keep hearing replace, but with no realistic alternative."

Yes, I get Mitt sucks - but who do we support?

The long term numbers game says we’re better off with an Obie win, hit him hard at midterms and finally run an actual conservative in 2016. Of course even if the numbers didn’t say that, I DON’T VOTE FOR SOCIALISTS EVER PERIOD. It ain’t about my pony, it’s about core values. Socialism is bad, socialists are scum, the letter after their name doesn’t change that.

Amen, discostu. Adhering to core values is the best strategy -- and your post shows exactly why.

I suppose Rush will be disparaged as a turncoat RINO suckup now.

Of course he will be. Nothing is more certain.

"If you have some evidence that it was all a big fraud, or people were forced to vote for him against their will, please produce it."

So the entire concept of the GOP-e establishment picking the candidates through the socialist media is like totally cool with you and not even really like a fraud..Awesome man!

And like dude...it's fine to put up all the conservatives and like dude, have the socialist run media take them all out one by one and keep the socialist Mitt on the back burner cause like dude...there really is no enemdia and we are like wow...still getting a choice between a real conservative and a liberal candidate.

I am just so schooled by your brilliance..please let me know next time you post so I can learns a lot. THX

Lie, lie, and lie again. It’s all you’ve got to defend yourself — truth is obviously on MY side; all you’ve got are faslehoods.

What then are your plans for disrupting the convention while all the other "arm chair patriots" do nothing?

What specific actions are you planning to take to over turn the will of the Republican primary voters? I assume you and your forces are well-armed and ready to die for the cause?

The first act is to openly state ones disagreement with a process which has been criminally manipulated to undermine ones liberties. All subsequent action springs from the decision to reject the advances and exhortations of others to abandon ones principles.

You, sir, are failing miserably at that.

Secondly, it doesn't matter whether the actions of a small, yet determined group can actually change the inertia and momentum of the course of current events. They simply need to continue to stand firm, and agitate against the grievous transgressions against us, and others (less courageous) will slowly join them. In time, they can gather enough force to overwhelm the greatest leviathan.

If you don't believe any of that, then you have given up, and are simply objecting to the fact that others are reminding you of your own moral failing. You can continue to belittle those who refuse to bend to tyranny, or you can regain your honor by joining them.

Your choice.

You have two choices; Obama or Romney. That is it.

You got a lot of nerve coming into a place like Free Republic and telling us we have to choose between a socialist and a socialist wannabe. This is a Conservative forum first and foremost, and Romney is not a Conservative. He's a Republican, but that doesn't make him a Conservative.

Is he really the best we've got?!

Romney is the man who the GOP primary electorate nominated.

That is the bottom line here.

Rush supports Mitt?

Yep.

So do lots of other conservatives, despite what you may have heard around these parts.

Giving Obama a second term = national suicide.

Conservatives giving up all principle out of abject fear is infinitely more dangerous than Obama will ever be.
