I can state emphatically that Quix WAS NOT the worst anti-Catholic, in fact he wasn't even close. He would debate, but he was always honest and even quite cordial in private conversation.
What puzzles me the most is the fact that Quix was a steadfast social conservative and the TrueBlueRinos HATE social conservatives.
But then the Catholics fought back and I dare say that if anything, Free Republic has become the most Catholic Friendly forum on the internet.
It took me some time to truly appreciate the complexity that is inherent to the Religion Forum. I know that many of us have had problems with it over the years, but I certainly don't know of a better way to moderate it. Most other forums that have the level of religious discussion that FR does are religious in nature to begin with, there's no problem banning someone from a site that is specifically Catholic or Evangelical Protestant, etc.; however, that isn't possible here and I applaud Jim and the moderators for the job they do. I know that the debates here have solidified my beliefs far more than I ever imagined.
Quix has denigrated FR and Jim Robinson since he joined TBL, AND he was over here preaching to us at the same time.
I called him out on another thread:

Quix is on TBL with his garbage posts, and some of his worshippers from FR have followed him....hypocrites like that are no loss to FR.

I suspect they will have little tolerance at all for his Charismatic Theology. Quix had a home here. He had FRiends and a peculiar following. He burned that bridge. What a sad waste. I believe that he is now homeless in cyberspace.
