I am looking at either getting a Desert eagle .45 1911 or a Kimber Custom TLE II. I know that the Desert Eagle is less expensive but does anyone know ab out the quality? I really like the Kimber. My wife has promised to buy me whatever I want for Christmas. I currently have a Para Ordnance GI expert with a couple of upgrades, but I now want an additional 1911. (Will probably want another after that!)

Is there a 1911 that is bad if it’s built on the same specs as the original Colt? I don’t know? Thought they were all the same.
Kimber sure is purrdy though.
