dammit, Fish, the DP has short term memory loss as well.
The English sparrow could barely survive in England for some reason but they were imported to this country because it was believed they would help clean up garbage in the streets ... this was back in the horse days.
I don’t know if the government did it directly or it was some group trying to help us that did it with government approval.
Will look up later. It’s kind of interesting. I think the same thing is true of the starling.
It’s gotta be the Murphyboro mosque in Tennessee.Pretty well known.

Digital changed everything.
My mother and my sister were avid gardeners (flowers) and my daddy had a huge vegetable garden.
The only thing I grow is grass and I’d rather have astroturf.
But.... I love to look at other people’s flowers.
I know... I was going to do that but I didn’t want to leave your wonderful thread.
How did we ever do research without The Net.
It would have taken a trip to the library and much work there.
But I do appreciate the pictures sometimes, because there are really funny ones occasionally.
As for me, I don’t care enough to bother and mostly the pictures I post on Facebook are about my family and with the enemies I have here I don’t really want anybody to know what my family looks like — I’ll just say they are super attractive.
Digital totally changed everything. Fortunately the DP was out of the business by then.
Digital almost put Kodak out of business. They clung too long to the old ways.
Now the lie about mass. jobs,47th with 4% unemployment. Now its Mitt's offshore money,Swiss, Caymans, etc. JOhn Roberts does correct her lies saying Mitt paid all taxes due.Roberts pretty fair and balanced.
You are right. Wow. Have I told you lately that I love you??
Debbie Washerwoman Schulze.
Yes, thanks!!Same here hahaha! The huge 50,000 sq. ft. mosque in Tenn. is rumored to be a foothold for the entire area. Who knows what the muzzies have in mind. the big question there is no one knows where all the money is coming from. There are hardly any muzzies in the area so who is footing the bill?As long as they are allowed to hide behind islam as a religion they will never have to tell where its all coming from. Islam as we all know here is anything but a religion.

On the bird topic, we have bluebirds .... LOTS of them! Dad put up bluebird boxes and they are going gangbusters. A pair fledged two 'batches' last year out of a box right across from our kitchen window and this year, at least one batch of babies (I think two maybe) . We have another box in the front field and I know babies fledged out of that box as well. Here's a picture for you (had to take it through a window so it's a bit of a distance):
Yeah for a while,.

On yet anther front looks like the Brits have discovered that zero is ineligible and are more than the least bit concerned.its here.

Why stink up a beautiful state like Tennessee? Build them in New England.
Im glad for you, but I think of my husband, a former professional photographer.Oh, the expensive cameras he had; the gadgets, the complicated settings, the skill it all took.
Its gone now.
All thats left is a fortune in camera equipment thats totally obsolete and worth nothing.
"People want it easy, and, by gosh, they will have it easy.
All that's left for me to say is "Game, set, match..." Soft smile.
I, for one, welcome our new Cybernetic Overlords /.
Wow.
Like I said upthread, not many bluebirds do I see as we’ve got too many trees.
I chanced to be outside exercising last week when a bluebird family flew in. You know I think I got pics of them too.
Was a Mom and a Dad and at least one baby.
There I am doing my circuits, me and the dog, and a bluebird lands in my yard, pretty as a picture and not much more than 5 feet from me. I sit down quietly and hold my breath as come on...a bluebird!
Not only do I rarely see one but here but a couple of feet from me!
He’s all busy digging worms and stuff, flying up to a tree. I hear the cries of baby birds and think what a hoot. Maybe I don’t get to see them nesting and stuff but they’re around.
And here they come, a whole family of them.
Soon the mom comes down and she’s digging up bugs and after a young one busy following a parent around, beak open, begging for bugs.
I sit quietly, hold back dog that she not scare, and ponder that God somehow sends His beautiful creatures to me just so’s I can see them.
Probably not but golly, I’ll always remember that fifteen minutes of watching the bluebird family enjoy the bugs my gardens offered.
Moles like ‘em too!
That’s what Mr. Murray said today, very graciously indeed.
After reading Miss Magnolia’s site on the sparrow history, I realized a couple of things.
One, I can add Mr. Pike to the Rachel list: people who meant well but did great damage.
Two, I blamed the government, but this is actually a case where, if one had a sensible government (big IF) this would be the very kind of thing they could protect us against.
