Part of the problem here besides the take it or leave it attitude,my way or the highway,is that we are all at different levels of participation. There are those here who make mainstream journalists look like rookies. Its very possible they have a hard time mixing with others who are at a very base level. Some here are so far ahead of what we read or see on TV that it has to be a frustrating experience to know what is coming up yet watch the DBM purposely not cover it or FNC not get there as quick as we do.
Then you have the fact that we are living under a communistic regime that is so easy for us to see/diagnose and yet a high percentage of the populace perhaps 48% just don’t get it.And, are too lazy to do the research we have done.
Well stated.
The truly educated/ informed understand what is being said vs done, while those who allow others to think for them suffer the consequences of not knowing the real facts.
FR is one place where you can get education and real information to reach your own conclusion.
Roger Ailes is seriously attempting to voice both sides. Some of his “liberal” hires are an attempt to diffuse that criticism, imho.
Good morning to all. Just heading out to church but wanted to toss in a couple of observations.
Thanks as always AB! for keeping this thread going - as others have commented, even though it’s come under attack somewhat, it’s one of the few remaining oases of sanity on FR these days.
bray, good essay, as always, although dire in tone. It’s honest, however, for the reality we face is indeed dire.
Bernard, re: the “fluffing” being being given to Hillary lately is pervasive, and indicative, in my opinion, that “something’s up”.
For example, the USA Network is doing saturation promos right now for a new mini-series starring Sigourney Weaver starting next Sunday about a former First Lady, now divorced from a charismatic former Dem President, who’s now Secretary of State and is being considered as a Presidential candidate.
Can they be any more blatent? Altura, maybe you or someone else can find and post one of those “Captain Obvious” pics. The media is in full-bore propaganda mode, but this series appearing right now, when the Dem nominee is supposedly the sitting incumbent is curious, to say the least... /grin
Will check back later - hope everyone is well and coping with the heat okay. They say in Arizona that the first words of infants are not “mama” or “dada”, but rather “it’s a dry heat”. ;-)
Everyone would love to have Romney's wealth if they had the chance. All this chatter is all focus tested to see what their latest take on the wealthy should be. Nothing is real in ratland! Only how would be voters will view their latest set of well placed lies and half truths. The topic;class warfare, racism, Republicans won't agrrrrree with us, energy, its all irrelevant. Only the supposed result.
They know all the issues they have are complete fabrications!! They don't care. They are only concerned with how their presentations will result in votes for the Dear Leader or not.
Everything is focus tested, truth never enters the equation. Its up to us to point out how much they lie if we can.
Oh yeah, and don't forge the moral equivalency argument, any time they get caught the first thing out of their mouth is that we,Republicans, do it too which of course is yet another lie.
I can’t get excited over the MSM’s “concern” that Romney is not responding sufficiently to Obama’s attacks.
They want to know all the details, so they have more time to twist them, and
run counter ads.
I am aiming to do that very thing. This will be my big fall expense and am working hard at selling things in my eBay store in order to be able to offer cash later this year.
My son suggested a combination of drip and overhead depending on whether beds or lawn area. He thinks it will cost about $3000 (I have a very large yard and garden).
I had put off doing it in order to do other improvements and repairs, but the time and money spent this year has convinced me it would be a sound investment. I also need new windows, so I had better get cracking on selling!
Michele Bachman is on the VP list
Also illiteracy counts as a disability. Not able to read or write thank to public edge-you-kay-chun.
I agree that Obama and his surrogates in the MSM want Romney to show all his cards and to use up his funding now so he has less in the fall. The reality is that the majority of the public are not that interested in the middle of the dog days of summer. We are going to be saturated with political ads in the run up to the election.
It’s Susan Daniels. She is a veteran Private Investigator, skilled in uncovering identity theft.
She has evidence indicating the SSN used by 0bamatax was actually issued to someone else.
Exactly, if I had to guess we have lots of wide swings ahead of us in the polls absent a blockbuster by the sheriff’s cold case posse or something of that nature.
Tell it to Jim Thompson. (LOL)
As Rodguy said - there are many informed people on FR
Is Mittens’ Mormonism a convenience that he can ignore as he sees fit? While the Left wing Media use it as a cudgel to label him and by inference us as religious zealots?
No one here should be offended when people are reminded that Mittens is a RINO. Rockefeller was a VP who died in his mistresses’ bed. While Mittens would never do that, he has no problem with that mistress getting a abortion on demand.
It may not be nice to remind folks of some of this history. Please keep in mind how mad we were when Bush II tried to nominate on of his female layers to the supreme court.
Mittens will probably be elected President, and than what? In Texas we have a runoff at the end of the month for the Republican Senatorial seat.
One small piece of not so nice information about Senator Rubio. He recently voted for a very large sugar subsidy for his best buddies in Florida.
Politics is war and Senator Rubio provides a not so nice example that everyone can be bought. Someone one said - We know what you are, we are just arguing about the price.
In the bigger scope of things if Senator Rubio works to shrink or eliminate some Federal G’ment bureaucracy this sell out on the sugar subsidy would be a small price to pay.
If, If, If, - time will tell
You need a falcon.
If Romney loses, not sure where the country will be in 4 years. Do we have the time for Obama to continue to experiment with wild socialism in his White House Lab?
political correctness is a weapon more potent than some nuclear ones.
I mean what known weapon would effectively have people standing still and quiet as they are assaulted by religions that are questionable?
What weapon would have people refusing to name the race of a criminal perp, even an assassinator?
What weapon would have people not only standing silent to a religion of violent and avowed takeover, the people being stifled as the emperor strides by naked will BEAT UP on anybody silly enough to fall for it.
I say if a political, national or religious force can succeed using a peaceful political correctness to silence the complainers, I SALUTE THEIR INGENUITY!
It's the dummies who fell for it who get what they deserve.
it’s a republic if you can keep it together.
I for one will keep on trying
I agree that Obama and his surrogates in the MSM want Romney to show all his cards and to use up his funding now so he has less in the fall. We are on the same page
Romney and the RNC should get on the same page. Sending mixed messages only confuses the people more who are extremely confused and undecided.
