Fred, in the long thread is a quote from the Indonesian Law at the time and “social norms”
A child was not allowed to live in the home without being related. The adoption was more like ownership that a faternal relationship. Look at the school records.

The look at the Hague Laws passed reguarding international adoptions and citizenship. Indonesia did NOT recognize duel citizenship at the time.

Next look at the divorce papers of Lolo and SADO. Child is listed as his then, not by name, but by age etc.

Keep your eye on the target. Do NOT be distracted or distract.

It’s much simpler then our brainstorming has led us. The windmills don’t need to be chased.

I really don’t think I’m chasing windmills, I’m suggesting that there’s no record of an adoption and we don’t know if and when zero was living with his so-called stepfather in Indonesia. I suggest keeping an open mind until there’s some kind of confirmation, rather than an oft-repeated legend...there is only ONE image of the ‘Soetoro family’ together, that’s the image of the four of them sitting on a couch.
And THAT image is a faked composite.

However, if it keeps y’all happy to accept the status quo, I’ll keep out of it. My questions just make people feel uncomfortable, right?

So how does it go again? SAD met the kenyan in Hawaii and they fell in love, she had a baby, she went to Seattle when it was two weeks old, she probably had the child in Kenya or Canada, his father had to be Frank Marshall Davis, he was adopted by his stepfather Soetoro, although his name was Soebarkah, and he was in Indonesia at the same time as he was in grade three in Hawaii, and if that doesn’t fit, then it was Madelyn who had an affair with FMD and Madelyn is really the mother, or Stanley Armour brought the kid home like a stray cat after an affair with a black barmaid.
But it’s windmills when I try to point out:

NO ONE HERE KNOWS WHO HIS FATHER WAS, OR WHO HIS MOTHER WAS, OR WHERE HE WAS BORN AND WHAT HIS BIRTHDAY WAS.

There’s just a collection of oft-repeated myths and legends, that’s all.
