You’re not kidding, Finny! Now, I’m without a name on my list. I’ll probably get confused tomorrow and greet an enemy as a FRiend and a FRiend as a just an ordinary Freeper. I think I’ll put humblegunner on my “happy-but-watch-your-six” list. But one more unacceptable comment from him tonight and...OFF WITH HIS NAME AGAIN!
He hasn’t given that maniac the coffee, has he?

Why not answer now? Is it a secret? Surely you're not ashamed?
I'm a Catholic, and not ashamed.
Gee, you’re so strict!

Gotta have a code to live by.
I moved to GA shortly before the recall. I would have voted for McClintock. He is virtually the only politician I still respect.
Oh boy, now you’ve done it.
In the eyes of some you just painted a big juicy target on you.
/ friendly ribbing.
Hey, what’s with that big paintbrush, I was just kidding.. no.. I.. uh.. ACK!
*runs away*
[wanders away, whistling and inspecting flowers by the path]
True. But the quality of mercy is not strained.
Hey, D. Nice to see you. :)
Any day I am visible is a goood day.
...writes on his new list...T...h...e...o...l...d...l...
Ah ... I see. It didn’t show up the last time I look at the pings, so I missed it.
It’s a Southern Baptist Church that I attend in Tulsa. I did also in Dallas, too - when I was there. That is the same church that Billy Graham is a member of and is famous for the well-known pastor/preacher W.A. Criswell ... preached there for almost 50 years straight!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/W._A._Criswell
In Portland, I went to Hinson Memorial, which is a member of the Conservative Baptist Denomination in the Pacific Northwest. And then there were a couple of others before that one, which were also part of the same Conservative Baptist denomination.
You’ll note that on the “Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy” ... there is the name - Earl Radmacher - President of one of their seminaries in Portland of the denomination and also a preacher there at Hinson for a while.
You’ll also note another name there - since we’re getting into “background” here ... :-) ... of Harold Lindsell, the person who wrote “Battle for the Bible” and a key person in getting to the “Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy” which upholds the Bible as the Word of God and our only source of authority.
I read his book when it first came out and also went to seminary there in Portland and had some classes on that subject, dealing expressly with the issue of Inerrancy of Scripture - which that seminary and the groups that I mention - are very much in agreement with.
BUT ... it’s not those churches that will give you an idea of the theology that I’m talking about (although if you look closely at them, it probably will) ... it’s what I’ve said on my page that pretty well sums it up and is in the ball part of a great many Christians.
This pretty well “wraps it up in a package” for you ... :-) ... quoted below ...
Now, for more..., I’m a Christian, for as long as I can remember. And I remember those sawdust floors and folding chairs. But, really, I believe I was a Christian from before the time I was born, although I do remember my “seven-year-old conversion” — in one of those “big tents”.
I’m also “pre-pre” (what I heard someone say on TV one time...). That’s pre-millennial, pre-tribulational (is there any other way that the Bible describes it??!!). And also “dispensational”. Christ is coming again, will reign on earth for His Millennial Reign (i.e., the “thousand years”). There are three groups in the Bible — the Church, Israel and the Gentiles. Christ rules the world, upon the Throne of David, when He comes again.
Isaiah 9:6-7
For unto us a Child is born.
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
True. But peas are.
He just asked ... LOL ... sorry if I don’t have as fast a computer as you do ... :-)
I think you’re probably a little bit too tightly wound up in “conspiracy-think” ... to realize that people actually “do things” around a forum and that’s not all they have to do. Besides my computer not being as fast as yours ... there are other people in the house that require some attention ... :-)
Try not to “project” what you think - onto another person. It doesn’t always work that way, you see.
Get ovah heah, missy! :)
Well, if you’re talking about me, yes a lot of people at TBL don’t like Onyx.
Apparently they consider her two-faced and a backstabber.
But I just recently defended her to the point that I said she had never said anything unpleasant to me and I had no problem with you.
If you’re going to lie about me at least make it a decent lie.
Okay. I’ve written humblegunner’s name 20 times on my list so that I may mercifully forgive 19 of his future FR sins against me so that he may remain on my new list. Happy now? You’re messing with my personal code for living.
Are you Quix’ alter ego FR second ID?
