Happy Independence Day, Everyone!!

Praise God for his precious gift of freedom!!

"The God who gave us life gave us Liberty!!"

And our Founding Fathers fought off the tyrants of old and gave us Independence!!

And in doing, so established the first and only nation on earth to formally recognize that we are all created equal by God and granted by Him certain unalienable rights, including the rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness!!

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

We the people created this government and granted it certain enumerated and restricted powers and left all else to the states and the people.

"That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,..."

And no, Mr. pResident, the purpose of our federal government is not to rule be executive decree, or to rule over the people, or to be a nanny state. The primary purposes of our federal government is to defend the constitution (as written, amended and ratified), defend our nation, defend our borders, maintain the federal judiciary, manage the District of Columbia, run the post office, etc, and DEFEND our God-given UNALIENABLE rights!!

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

We are a sovereign nation among nations and we have sovereign states within the nation, but we the people are the true sovereigns within the states and of this government. We the people are the final arbiters of all things regarding the constitution. If our government representatives run astray of the constitution, we elect different people (or try to) to represent us in the following elections. If they get too far out of hand, we impeach, recall or petition to get them expelled. And if our judges or justices fail to uphold the constitution, we must impeach them!

If a government goes totally out of control, the Founders established a remedy for that, too, and set it forth in the Declaration:

"That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Pray it never comes to that, but it's there as a reminder. And on this Independence Day, it would behoove us all to read and reread the Declaration and the Constitution and then praise God for his many Blessings and ask for His Devine Guidance during this next election and throughout the following years. Our nation is deeply divided and is entering into a time of constitutional crisis that, thankfully, does not rise often.

We must not fail our Founders. We must not fail our God. We must not give up our sovereignty our our God-given inalienable rights! We must secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our POSTERITY!

Surrender to despotism?

Not on MY watch!!

We do not retreat, we reload!!

"The Declaration of Independence was a statement adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, which announced that the thirteen American colonies, then at war with Great Britain, regarded themselves as independent states, and no longer a part of the British Empire.
John Adams put forth a resolution earlier in the year which made a formal declaration inevitable. A committee was assembled to draft the formal declaration, to be ready when congress voted on independence. Adams persuaded the committee to select Thomas Jefferson to compose the original draft of the document,[2] which congress would edit to produce the final version.
The Declaration was ultimately a formal explanation of why Congress had voted on July 2 to declare independence from Great Britain, more than a year after the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War. The Independence Day of the United States of America is celebrated on July 4, the day Congress approved the wording of the Declaration."

"I want every God-fearing, liberty-loving American to go to the polls and vote their conscience. I want a turnout greater than 2010. I want the tea party rebellion of 2010 to explode and go viral in 2012. I want grassroots tea party conservatives to be voted into as many offices at every level of government that is humanly possible.

And if it is in accordance to God’s will then I pray that the new moral majority will drive out the godless abortionists, the homosexualists, the militant feminists, the whacko environmentalists, the statists, the socialists, the Marxists, the communists, the activist and internationalist “Rulers in black robes,” and all the corrupt crony capitalists, the evil doers and assorted enemies of God and Liberty from our government at every level and from all of our government and public institutions. I pray that we restore God and Liberty and sovereignty and freedom and self-rule and sanity to our great nation!!...

Vote ‘em OUT!! Recall them!! Impeach them!! Overturn them!! Repeal them!! Throw out the anti-liberty, un-American, unconstitutional evil doers and their corruption, depravity and filth!! Restore freedom and Liberty!!

A little something to remind us all of what's at stake on what USED TO BE the 4th of July Independence Day Holiday but which is now a HOLLOWday filled with empty and essentially meaningless gestures and symbols far too many of our neighbors don't understand and no longer care enough about to fight for. The CONGRESSIONAL elections in November will tell the story.

According to George Soros -- and he should know -- the Presidential election is a case of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumber so the Congress is our only hope at this point.
