lodi, thanks for the tip on Saltzman. There’s mention of a ski trip photo of Roberts and Saltzman. Have you found it?

Add Robert “Rob” M. Saltzman, Harvard Law 1979 or 1980
To the list of Roberts Cambridge’s strange bedfellows ring.
So now we find another old classmate and friend of Roberts with links to the Obama White House who is also a prominent gay advocate and in a male-male marriage.
Question: Does Chief Justice John Glover Roberts have any close friends who are straight?

White House Taps USC Law Professor for Commission on Presidential Scholars

Robert M. Saltzman to select nation’s top high school seniors
By Gilien Silsby
President Barack Obama announced that USC Gould School of Law Associate Dean Robert M. Saltzman will be appointed to the Commission on Presidential Scholars, a group of distinguished citizens charged with selecting and honoring the nation?s top graduating high school seniors.
Saltzman, an expert on the political process and legal and professional ethics, oversees USC Law’s Academic Support Program. He has worked in a variety of public service capacities and currently is a commissioner for the Los Angeles Police Department. He also serves on the board of directors of the Gay and Lesbian Leadership Institute.
?I am honored to be able to provide this public service, especially because of the role the Presidential Scholars play in the development of leadership for our nation’s future,? Saltzman said.
Thanks for post.
I wonder if Obama has any friends who are straight??
No, I didn't find that picture. I think we know why. I just did a 5 minute search and this gay stuff is floating on top. Imagine what is buried.
One other item I saw was a quote by Lazarus about the gay case Roberts worked on. Interesting that Lazarus, an Environmental Law professor, is commenting in an AP article on a gay rights case. I wonder if he worked on that case also?
The other thing is that Malta seminar is a joke beard. Just look at the law schools of the other visiting lecturers: South Texas College, California Western School of Law, William Mitchell College of Law. A Harvard prof and USSC chief justice fit right in that crowd? Come on, something else is going on.
Maybe fun in the sun with the boyfriend and a few Moroccan towel boys?
