The left would have mobilized around Obama if the SCOTUS shot it down.

Instead the dems are somewhat divided and the GOP is suddenly united. Look at the campaign coffers since thursday morning, if you doubt.

This president has been a complete and utter failure on almost every issue, not least of all the economy, and that won't change come November - conservatives didn't NEED more motivation.

Those who were inclined to vote for him now have more of a reason - he's a "winner".

Now the president has a 'victory', we have the f'n act with its taxes, its death panels, its massive intrusion into the private marketplace and destruction of the best healthcare system in the world - a brand new hugely expanded role of government in our lives as a bonus - and a balless GOP who are already qualifying their 'we'll repeal it' rhetoric - IF they win, that is.

There is nothing good about this fiasco.

What? Maybe the leftist politicians would be up and arms.

Obamacare is not popular with a lot of democrat voters. It's foolish to think just because we may get a political boost from this ruling, it's okay.

This decision will haunt our Republic for decades. The precedent set down by this decision is as destructive as Obamacare itself.

Again, you are wrong to think that most democrat voters would rally around the decision. Go look at the polling at the time it was passed. There wasn't much support among the grassroots, right and left. It was mostly the insane left union members and other political hacks.
