Santorum to social conservatives: Romney's message is 'right on'

Former GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum gave a signal to social conservatives on Saturday: Mitt Romney's "message is sound. It's solid."

On Saturday, Santorum's praise was warm.

"The concern I had - I did, I was very frank about it - was that Governor Romney would track to the middle as so many Republican candidates have done, but I'm not seeing that," Santorum said. "I'm seeing him stand by those convictions that he articulated in the primaries and I'm hopeful."

They have a grand tradition of not voting for offensive candidates. The Republicans were lucky when they started showing up for Ronald Reagan ~ they'd gotten over their distaste for divorce.

What you need to learn to do is just accept that what I tell you is true.

BTW, McCain's sin was to dump his former wife and marry a gal with a lot of money. Looks terribly suspicious.

Regarding Gov. Palin, it was Mitt's own former staff people who went to work for McCain and began trashing Sarah to the press.

McCain should have had them publicly flensed!

So, how do you intend to hold Obama’s feet to the fire when your “Don't Vote for the Republican Nominee” strategy goes Nationwide with the Electorate?

Is there an exit strategy the day after the Reelection of Obama? If so, can you articulate it to the people here who see no upside to another Obama Term?

In other words, what is this mystical “Third Choice” we keep hearing about and how does that outcome, if successful, benefit the Country?

Ralph Reed is the main source in the news and he's completely in Romney's pocket this time. Even believes Mitt is pro-life, which he isn't, and goes along with a tax cut.

Last good article on the guy's misfortunes in politics blames it on ol'what'shisname, Abramof or some such ~ anybody remember him?

He still has some connections and there's every reason to believe the 17 million ~ particularly since he's working with the Mittbots eh!

I told you this was something already known by the insiders ~ and if you ever bother listening to Rove he's mentioned the problem with getting Evangelicals out to vote on FOX.

I'm was just asking questions that you refuse to answer.

As I've said before, do what you think is best and we will see how it all works out after the Election,

I and others here think we have a better chance with the presumptive Republican Candidate than we have with Pharaoh Obama getting four more years to drag us into the abyss.

I'm not quite sure why that dregs up such animosity, but I guess from your perspective it cuts both ways.

This is the point where I say we will just have to agree to disagree, since our positions are in direct opposition with each other.

In the future, please don't make assumptions about how your position “bugs” other FReepers. We aren't here to bug each other, we are here to discuss, question and share our many opinions and hopefully work toward a common solution.
