TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida Gov. Rick Scott now says Florida will do nothing to comply with President Barack Obama's health care overhaul and will not expand its Medicaid program. The announcement is a marked changed after the governor recently said he would follow the law if it were upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.
"Florida is not going to implement Obamacare. We are not going to expand Medicaid and we're not going to implement exchanges," Scott's spokesman Lane Wright told The Associated Press on Saturday. Wright stressed that the governor would work to make sure the law is repealed.

“That makes it two, WI and FL. More to follow.
Lets see what happens now.”
Sounds like another period in American history.
What incident will become the new Fort Sumter?
Proud to be a Floridian! Stuff it Obama!
The writer of the article thinks federal money comes from thin air ?
So not only would we as Floridians have to pay more if Gov. Scott caved, but as US tapayers will pay more...
We were obviously not supposed to have our guns by now. The amount of citizens in the US that own guns, is said to be over 50 million. That means we have an armed force that is over 10 times larger then the entire Chinese military including reserves.
Those of you in states that haven’t done this need to contact your Governor and urge him to take the same actions of these first states to do this. This Governors realize that their states will go bankrupt if they implement this atrocity. IF the Feds threaten to cut off federal aid, the states need to threaten to have their citizens quit sending their taxes to DC and instead send it to the state. Big oil and gas states like Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, etc would cripple them without that tax income. The more states that pour it on, the less they are going to be able to enforce this thing.
I suspect the Fed will try ot make “an example” out of one of these states, but if they got the guts to stick together, this thing will have to go down in flames.
nothing from Perry, but texas is mentioned in this globe article...fwiw
