Obamacare was going to be created regardless of Romneycare. The perfect storm of Obama and his majorities in the House and Senate allowed it's creation. Socialized medicine is one of the main goals of the left. Ted Kennedy was working for national healthcare since the Carter Administration -"the cause of my life", he said.
