I understand the contempt, but don’t agree with the reasoning.
More or less, I see my relationship with the GOP as an imperfect alliance. We have a mutual adversary, and in the practical sense need to work together to regain our footing. The GOP definitely abuses the relationship and deserves to be disciplined for it. But not now. We’re advancing on our opponents. What else is there to say?
Thanks for the links.
I couldn’t agree with you more! The other candidates had their excellent aspects but we all watched them rise and then implode, one by one.
Romney, while not a FReeper’s first choice made it strongly to the finish line. It is pure fantasy to think any one of the others didn’t get a fair shake, lost unfairly and could do better at beating Obama. How’s that if they couldn’t even whip Mitt Romney?
All the carping about Mitt not playing fair? wasted breath. That would only be multiplied times 10 with Obama’s dirty lying machine from Chicago. The man who wanted it,prepared for it and executed the best is the one who won.
