Detroit's bus drivers has reportedly asked local lawmakers to put pressure on the transit agency to help stop the spread of bedbugs on buses.
The Detroit News reports that roughly 50 Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) drivers have said they've seen bedbugs on buses, and some have been bitten within the past year, according to Henry Gaffney, president of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 26.

I’ve seen this movie SO many times :)
It’s even better on Blu-ray.
BFL
Tax the bedbugs.
I WANT MY DDT!
Going by that map my state has more bedbugs per capita than most. Or is that per illegal immigrant? NY looks very bedbug friendly, I would want to live there if I were a bedbug
Remind me not to ride the public buses
“food grade diatomaceous earth”
I see it on Amazon. Where do you get it. Thanks!
I ordered mine on Amazon some months back.
It was only $10 or $15 for 10lbs
Just read up on how to use it for what you want to use it for.
Thanks....I have some uses for it. I have a bit someone gave me. Diotomaceous earth is an item in better garden centers and nurseries though not the food grade I suppose
Ever work in a restaurant with a center tile drain or a few of them? At the end of the day you hose it all down and down the drain it goes
The one I worked in so long ago actually had a cement floor. No tiles. We just hosed the troubles, roaches, bedbugs, spilled food down the drain
Anyplace where filthy subhumans might park their arse.
In other words, anyone who isn’t Archie Bunker white? Bed bugs aren’t racist and they don’t give a rats ass how wealthy or poor you are. Bed bugs have infested the Waldorf-Astoria hotel and the Metropolitan Opera House. You know, places where filthy subhumans can’t afford to go to. Just read a story about a spanking brand new high rise apartment complex where the rent goes for 5 thousand a month. And it was totally infested with bed bugs. In all likelihood the major cause of bed bugs being reintroduced to the US has been because of globe trotting wealthy people.
And throwing clothes into a drier won’t solve an infestation. They get into mattresses, rugs, carpets, walls,,,you name it. And once an infestation starts, it’s virtually impossible to stop. You have to kill 100% of them. If even two survive, you will be right back where you started. And using chemicals to kill them is dangerous to both humans and pets.
Hmmmmm...seems I touched a raw nerve.
Good luck in getting rid of your bedbugs.
Don’t have blu-ray yet,but I still liked the movie too.
My Mom always used to say to my sisters and I that soap and water were the cheapest things to use for cleanliness. It’s totally beyond me how the big city peoples live with/in all the filth, bed bugs and all?
Can you buy that?!?
Rockin’! I want some!
Detroit bump
