I wish to see millions of Fedex, UPS packages sent to Congress, all of them a simple cheap First Aid kit.

Our version of a Tea Party against Obamacare.

Where did it originate?

“Excessive taxation ... will carry reason and reflection to every man’s door, and particularly in the hour of election.” ...Thomas Jefferson, letter to John Taylor, 1798

I received this in an email this AM. Can anyone verify if this is accurate or not?

The word "Dhimmitude" is found in the new health care bill; so what does it mean? Thought this was interesting and worth passing on. Dhimmitude -- What does it mean? Obama used it in the health care bill. Now isn't this interesting? It is used in the health care law. Dhimmitude -- I had never heard the word until now. Type it into Google and start reading. Pretty interesting. It's on page 107 of the healthcare bill. I looked this up on Google and yep, it exists.. It is a REAL word. Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam. ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking", and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this. How convenient. So I, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Dhimmitude.

IIRC, they will have to repeal the existing law and re-vote, this time starting in the House or the law never takes effect.

I’m wondering, since this is now considered a tax, was the bill even passed correctly. I didn’t think a tax increase could be passed by a parliamentary procedure such as “Deeming it Passed”. Shouldn’t a tax like this require 2/3rd approval?

Sorry, officially it did originate in the House. Reid took a House bill, stripped out its contents to make it a shell bill and then put Obamacare in the shell. This technique has been used in the past. It is a circumvention, but it has multiple precedents.

With the Affordable Health Care Act as exhibit A, and the executive dismissals of Marriage Law, and Immigration law as exhibits, B and C, The whole process is now so illegitimate and unconstitutional that we will have a very very hard time getting back to a to a place where the reasoned application of the rule of law means anything at all.

The Supreme justices in oral arguments bristled at the notion that they were going to have to READ the bill and make sense of it. The majority opinion PROVES that they did not read the bill, or make any sense of it. They just basically said, “Approved” in spite of the plain text of the bill, which even the majority admits is unconstitutional.

I believe his name is Boehner.

I also believe that if he turns on the faucet, he could get the judge crying with him.

Good luck

There is a technicality that congress uses to get around this requirement, the Senate takes a House passed bill, guts it and replaces it with the Senate tax bill. It's standard DC stuff.

Or he can just not fund it in the budget (which the Dems won’t look at . . . HEHEHEHE). So I think either way, this is starting to look more and more like a victory. More optimistic today than yesterday.

I have no faith in our court system (at this point) to act in a lawful manner. Instead, we now have a system of government that has shredded the original Constitution, with all three parts (Executive, Legislative and Judicial) now creating laws based upon ideological/political agendas.

I’d say let’s not overkill. Let’s leave it alone and as Sarah Palin said yesterday: “On November 6 the people will give their “Ruling” on ObamaCare.”

Let’s lay-low and work like hell to get a GOP Prez, House and Senate.

GOP 2012 BATTLE CRY: “On June 28, 2012, they shoved ObamaCare down our throat. On November 6, 2012, we’re going to shove it up their ass.”

The waters are muddy here...

the ruling has the mandate as a penalty for purposes of the tax anti-injunction act, and NOT a tax...

so, not sure what it is, but looks like it can be molded to the political whims of who decides...

This should be one of the lines of attack on this POS “law”. I was saying this yesterday within minutes of the decision. The “tax” did not originate in the House as a tax so it was fraudulently legislated.

I wrote the same thing a couple of threads up. I believe someone actually has to pay the tax before they have standing but maybe not in the case of the speaker of the House.
