Only after you get 60 to agree to a vote.
Or he can just not fund it in the budget (which the Dems won’t look at . . . HEHEHEHE). So I think either way, this is starting to look more and more like a victory. More optimistic today than yesterday.
Our ancestors back in Boston probably said the same thing but horse manure was more valuable at home for fertilizer.
let history repeat itself in full 3D color.
I for one have access to quite a few old first aid kits from a fleet of trucks. I may very well just toss them out on the highway with a magic marker message on them.
“Repeal Obamacare!”
You can get a basic kit from Walmart pretty cheap.
Just repeating what Michelle Bachmann said last night. Bottom line, we need as many in the House/Senate as possible.
Right. What will it take to get THAT? ie. If Romney is elected, how many Congressmen have to be replaced by people who have at least half a brain?
I’d say let’s not overkill. Let’s leave it alone and as Sarah Palin said yesterday: “On November 6 the people will give their “Ruling” on ObamaCare.”
Let’s lay-low and work like hell to get a GOP Prez, House and Senate.
GOP 2012 BATTLE CRY: On June 28, 2012, they shoved ObamaCare down our throat. On November 6, 2012, were going to shove it up their ass.
Taxation without representation?
Or condoms because they are a bunch of d-heads.
The waters are muddy here...
the ruling has the mandate as a penalty for purposes of the tax anti-injunction act, and NOT a tax...
so, not sure what it is, but looks like it can be molded to the political whims of who decides...
All we can do is give it our very best effort. We need to become responsible for the people we elect ... it is obvious that for the most part, we have been sending trash to congress, only concerned with their own re-election. When they go rogue and don’t vote the way we expected them to, we do nothing other than re-elect them anyway. Vote out all the b@stards who won’t listen to the people, no matter how many elections it takes.
It’s a daunting task & it is going to take a huge effort. Americans in 1776 probably felt the same way facing legions of British troops, all better armed, with the power of England behind them. They didn’t give up then, we shouldn’t be spineless cowards and give up now .... unlike those who founded the country and died for liberty, we just have to vote to win (back) our liberty & save our country.
I’m pretty sure that fiscal/budgetary matters in the Senate are not subject to filibuster ... experts? ;-)
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said that the House Republicans will schedule a vote on repealing the health care law on July 11...
If these guys can do this for the Health Care bill then why the hell haven’t they voted to ban abortion which the Supreme Court also approved. Either the House cannot really get rid of the Health Care Law or Conservatives in the House are not conservative at all for keeping Abortion on the books.
This might help:
One thing at a time...
I honestly believe that we MUST work to control both the Legislative and Executive branches....IF we want to truly get this nation back on a sane, moral trajectory.
In November ....the most important election in our history will take place.
I also believe that God is showing us that even more people need to wake up and repent, pray and fast for our nation.
the most important election in our history will take place.
I am not trying to belittle that comment, but this has been said every single election since at least 1992 that I am aware of. I still believe that the election will come down to Colorado. If Romney can win CO, he wins the election. If Obama wins CO he wins the election. Romney can win VA, NH, FL, OH, NC, IN, but still needs to win CO for the win. If I were him, I would spend the rest of the campaign their. And with the fires, it would be a great chance for him to show some leadership.
This should be one of the lines of attack on this POS “law”. I was saying this yesterday within minutes of the decision. The “tax” did not originate in the House as a tax so it was fraudulently legislated.
I wrote the same thing a couple of threads up. I believe someone actually has to pay the tax before they have standing but maybe not in the case of the speaker of the House.
