I met Cullen at Comicon 2 years ago and he was a blast, even at his age. My nephew, who was 8 at the time just said “I didn’t like the Transformers movie in the 80’s because Rodimus prime sucked”.
He started laughing. Later signed my nephew’s Transformers comic book and took a pic. Genuinely friendly..
He’s been a Republican for years. I remember seeing him at a rally for Bush Sr. in 1988.
Thanks for the info.
I bet there are more who stay “in the closet”.
He gave a speech at the 2000 Republican convention.
What the heck happened to Pat Sajack’s hair?
In Hollywood, you are leaning to the right if you did not vote for the Communist party USA presidential candidate in 2008.
I also want to go on record as saying that the title of this article infringes on my FR handle. I will be contacting a (conservative) lawyer shortly.
Janine Turner probably should be listed. She’s more of a libertarian though.
Dennis Hopper is dead as well. Dixie Carter didn’t ever lean right. I recall that Rush was on her show, Designing Women, and got a lot of grief for associating with liberals.
Looks like it’s an older article.
It was still kind of cool to see some people there.
Isn’t there some secret club in Hollywood called “The Lincoln society” or something like that?
...and once you talk about being a member...you’ll never work again in that town?

Dennis Hopper: I believe he said he voted for Obama because Sarah Palin was on the ticket.
Wayne Newton: He endorsed Harry Reid in Nevada in 2010, saying Nevada would be foolish to replace him.
James Earl Jones: He was quoted saying that he hoped all of his voice portrayals of God helped Barack Obama win in 2008.
Carrie Underwood: She just enthusiastically threw her support behind gay marriage.
Dennis Hopper, Charlton Heston, Ron Silver= Dead. I think your list needs an update.
Mark Wahlberg might also be one. Some of the things he has said publicly would indicate a possible Republican philosophy.
In Hollywood, “To Get Along, You Go Along.” If you want roles, you tow the party line, especially on Gay Marriage.
Celebrities are entertainers. They entertain anybody who is willing to cut them a cheque.
The willingness to attend some fundraiser isn’t always an indication of a political philosophy.
Got any data on “Plumbers who lean to the right”.
No less important and valid than the opinions of these celebrated clowns.
In Hollywood, unless you’re supremely bankable, you don’t indicate you lean to the right, ever.
The Gay Mafia runs the entire entertainment industry, if you are not “Gay Friendly”, you don’t work...period.
I would remove Bruce Willis from the list. Although he supported Bush over Clinton in 1992, he said in an interview last month that Mitt Romney was “an embarrassment, a disappointment.” He also has called religion a “mythology”.
Ron Silver is deceased as well. :(
