Does anyone know how much $$ this largest tax increase in the history of the world will steal from the economy? The rest of it.

Send her the article that points out that the UK euthanizes 130K people a year. She is a prime target for cost reductions. We are no longer individual persons, we are a commodity to be managed efficiently.

Those decisions are entrusted to our Nations elected leaders, who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them. It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.
How does that make any sense? Isn't the SC's purpose to serve as a check on the other two branches?....to determine the constitutionality of laws put forth by those branches?
Kennedy's dissent says the WHOLE BILL is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
What Roberts and the other four did can not be interpreted as upholding the Constitution (IMO, of course).

“the precedent has been set that the federal govt can tax anything.”
Plus they can tax the absence of something. They can tax inactivity.

Better stick with the weather.

This caller is wrong. The Constitution says that the rules for taxation have to be uniform across the states, not equal.
Obama's waivers violated the uniform rules of taxation.

Doubt that, as well, but something is up with Roberts. Is he this stupid? Was he always a liberal? Did someone get to him? Before this week, I don’t think anyone expected this decision, and the reasoning he used.

Talk about the weather, Sidney’s contract extention. (if she is a Yinzer), etc:..anything the SoetaroCare.
That said...anyone else getting spooked (I am) about Rush’s “someone got to Roberts” meme? It sounds like a John Grisham plot.
I know verboten on FR, but I’m going to check over at Ulsterman...I wonder of WHI’s take is?

Maybe Roberts has a sinister secret in his past, like he used to date Nancy Pelosi, or worse, Barney Frank (shudder) and he’s being blackmailed.
Seriously, I do wonder if there’s something to the rumors. Let us know what WHI says.

Yeah, Joe DeGenova was trying to pedal this crap on WMAL this morning.
The only thing that got to Roberts was his inner Libtard.
