Since 2011, a new voting law requires that poll workers have voters sign a poll book.
Seems pretty clear cut to me.

"Since 2011, a new voting law requires that poll workers have voters sign a poll book."
Or what? A law without consequences is meaningless. It sounds like the election officials have just said "Oh, never mind."

I’m a Wisconsin Republican. Republican Van Wanggaard needs to go back to his day job, whatever it was.

This is exactly the reason why the Obama campaign is hiring a couple of thousand lawyers to proctor the 2012 election. Stealing is an option if things don’t go as planned.

Democrats don’t need no steenkeen laws. They can do anything they want because they are Democrats.
Wanggaard should definitely take this to court.

I don’t get my “key” for the voting machine until I have 1. Shown a picture ID, 2. signed the poll book.
The poll book requirement is as old as my voting memory, the photo ID is fairly new, several years.
I have no idea why Ohio’s photo ID requirement hasn’t been challenged.
