I just had a telephone conversation with a Denver friend tonight while I was doing the laundry. She kept coughing, which is not like her. She explained that her cough was due to the fires. Good thing I am not planning my usual Colorado hiking vacation this year, as I would have a hard time with the particulates in the air from the smoke. As far as I know, Denver is nowhere really close to any of the fires and she’s still coughing.
I recommended she get an indoor air purifier, as she’s not a spring chicken any more. Does anyone have a brand they could particularly recommend?

Your friend is probably breathing some smoke from the Boulder fire. The winds are coming from the north.

Have a daughter in Littleton - 30 minutes south of Denver, and 60 minutes north of CO Springs.
Strange she hasn’t text anything.
A short time - a few weeks? - back she did say some smoke was giving her a migraine. . .
