I’m 68 years old, and have followed politics for decades. I don’t ever recall a time hearing a senior member of either party publicly announce not attending their presidential convention may be preferable.

Coupled with the stories about funding drying up, I’d say the democrats have two major problems on their hands; both tied to funding. 1) Obama’s campaign funding, and 2) the DNC can’t handle the convention expenses. Both tied together, both tell one story...
