Actually, I found that riding my old shovelhead with fairly loud pipes, open highway and wind in my face, was a great stress reliever... All the 'modern' beeps, dings, whirrs, and other electronic noises (especially including *&^*^&&* cell phones!) are not relaxing at all.
Oh, quite agree. No doubt, we will soon have a diagnoses of 'text rage' as a legal defense.
That said; am always 'sensitive' - at least, skeptical about 'studies' and the 'warnings' we are thus subjected - ad nauseum - to.
There is a 'change' mindset/MO so embedded in Lib culture and like the warnings per 'global warming'; we know; or should by now; it is not just climate oriented.
