Still one can hope for a rip-roaring success, one that drives down prices and improves capability across the board.

Below the surface, lies Windows 8, which is a lot more powerful OS than anything Apple or Google offer. In fact, I've been using Windows 8 for the last month as the only OS on my computers, and, it's worked flawlessly, and with greater speed, and a few more features. And, believe it or not, what defines a computer, is not the hardware features that come with it, but the software that knows how to make things work flawlessly and smoothly and to expectations.
And, why would anybody denigrate a product which they haven't even seen or touched yet? What's in it for you, except, a dislike for anything Microsoft? It's just hardware and software, and there's no need to get emotional about it.
