Bristol Palin is being sued for defamation by the man she got into a heckling match with last year at a West Hollywood bar, RadarOnline.com has learned.

"Bristol Palin first accused Plaintiff of 'being a homosexual' in a degrading manner in front of others," the lawsuit reads.

Hanks claims that by airing the exchange on her show, Bristol Palin: Life's A Tripp, his privacy and the privacy of his sexuality were breached — and as such, he has suffered emotional distress.

Sounds to me that Bristol would probably have been better off punching this little princess in the mouth
But wait a minute. Within the past 2 weeks a judge ruled there is no slander in calling someone homosexual because it’s “normal” to be homosexual. So, it’s not an insult or defamation. I’m not kidding.
I don’t usually watch these kinds of shows, but out of curiosity (and the fact that I was home), I watched. The guy was a complete #ss. Bristol did a great job in standing her ground. She made him look like the fool he is by asking him simple questions which he could not answer - except the question about his sexuality, which he answered in the affirmative. He made a choice.
I was really impressed how she confronted irrationality with reason, evil with calm. Then, she walked outside and broke down in tears. I applaud her restraint. I probably would have taken some drastic measures to shut him up.
Bristol is very much a kid, spoiled in some ways. However, she also has an incredible strength that really surprised me. I hope she can stay on the right track. She could be a real force in the world.
If he hadn’t started the whole incident, calling out to her that her mother was a “whore” and “evil”, there would have been no discussion of his sexuality on any camera. Good luck, drama queen (no pun intended).
He defamed himself by acting like a jerk. He started it all, now wants to sue her? I hope he gets laughed out of court.
she obviously doesn’t know much about the legal team that protects the Palins, including Mr. Van Sutren: John Coale, I interviewed him years ago when he was very active practicing law, and he don’t lose cases.......he’s a big fellow, and when he speaks, both the Judges and jurors listen
