Hit the “print screen” key. That will copy the screen shot to your clipboard. Then open up the Paint program and paste. You can crop and save it from Paint (under accessories in the windows tool bar).

Actually it’s ALT + PRINT SCREEN, and it’s also the long way to do it, and it saves the whole screen, not just the picture.
