No the vote by the House if passed refers he matter to the Justice Dept for prosecution!

According to both Levin and Megan Kelly, the next step after the House passes a contempt charge would be for the House to go to a criminal court judge requesting that Holder be charged. Kelly’s take was that the criminal court would deny such a request and that there is precedence for that even during Bush.

After that step, the House should go to a civil court judge asking the court to review the documents one by one to see if they meet the threshold for the Exec. Priv. claim. This would no doubt be tedious and take time. Obama/Holder know this would stretch out beyond the election. That’s why they are playing this game.

The above explanation may not be entirely accurate, but I believe it’s pretty close. Someone may be able to explain it better or more thoroughly than I.

But nonetheless, the House needs to do what is right, election or no. The people have a right to know what went on. After all, our tax dollars funded this operation and we deserve a thorough accounting of our money.
