my theory is that the later the decision, the better for us. stalling is the favorite tactic of politicians when they are in trouble.
Not me - I fear threats and intimidation - you know the Chicago way.
The decision was made a long time ago. The opinions have been writtem. It is just a matter of timing as to whem the decision will be handed down. It has to be next week—Monday or Thursday.
You're pretty optimistic; I can see it being the other way; stalling because they have to release an unpopular decision. Either way it's going to be 'controversial'.
(And I don't doubt that there haven't been behind the scenes plays going on; I'd not be surprised if there were "offers they couldn't refuse" passed out.)
Despite some of the recent rulings, we should remember that the Supreme Court is a Statist organization. (Kelo, allowing property to be 'arrested', letting the TSA stand, allowing no-knock raids, etc.) Obamacare is appealing in that it is basically handing control of any person's health to the state, which means that the inconvenient can simply be repeatedly moved to the back of all their waiting lists due to "unfortunate scheduling conflicts" or "miscommunication".
