As a civil servant, I can choose not to attend the never ending parade of “diversity” events.
As a military person, they will have no choice but to attend and pretend they like it.

We civilians must take a variety of mandatory training. We get EEO training and sexual harassment training once per year, for example. This hasn’t hit yet, but here it comes....
And yes, DOD has been pushing the word “diversity” around quite a bit, and adding Diversity Committees to the already existing EEO Committees. From what I’ve seen, the Navy uses the term “diversity” heavily, but has not articulated what they mean by the term. Perhaps deliberately.
