Dems gave up the right to expect any kind of treatment of a president when they didn’t toss BJ Clinton from office. They called Bush a “deserter”, and targeted him for years. Whatever speaking skills he lacked, he looked like a perfect orator in comparison to the teleprompter-dependent affirmative action hoax.
They have to hide Obama now from reporters and cameras, because when they ask about Americans (in terms of his amnesty), or when Joe Wilson correctly stated that Obama lied (ObamaCare didn’t exclude illegal aliens), the sympathy Obama’s media thinks it will generate for him is more than offset by the votes lost as Americans realize his “hecklers” are absolutely correct, and in both of these particular instances, the interests of Americans are put behind those of our foreign invaders.
Like BJ Clinton, who could never give anything except staged, screened press appearances (remember the guy handing him a fetus?), Obama (not Biden) has to be kept from public view.
A whole movement tried to occupy Bush’s home in Crawford, Texas for several weeks. Cindy Sheehan was joined by hundreds of people including some high profile visitors. Where were the demands for respect back then??
