It has; Fast and Furious. This scandal will put all the hyphen-gates to rest. It is it's own name and it will be infamous.
And since when is Eric Holder the POTUS? You would only use the Executive Privilege defense if obie himself was implicated or guilty of something in F&F.
And if that's the case, then it's time to hold holder in contempt and move on to impeachment for obie.

SL, the name “Obamagate” puts this right at the feet of who is responsible.
“Fast and Furious” is not self evident, nor descriptive of what happened. You and I know what it means, but the bulk of AMerica thinks it is a car movie, and what would a car movie have to do with DC?.
“Obama” and “-gate” are self describing and easy for people to grasp. Simple to say and remember.
Plus, it implicates Obama—whio is responsible for Holder and for asserting the executive privilege that has raised this from a contempt charge to a constitutional crisis.
