It's looking exactly like Watergate. Nixon cited executive priviledge as well. The difference is that no one was murdered in Watergate.

Yes it is - but this FF stuff is easier, much easier to see a cover up. EP is only for communication between pres as one party but Holder has testified WH was NOT involved.

In addition to previous criminal allegations, perjury now has now cemented this as a criminal proceeding - for which there is NO EP.

This is turning out to be a chess match and Holder/Obama is losing.

“This is turning out to be a chess match and Holder/Obama is losing.”

This has always been a chess match and frankly I think well played by Issa all along. Rumor has it he already has the documents in his possession, he just needs the confirmation. The claim of EP is almost a confession that they know the documents are in Issa’s possession.

Some people here are a little impatient and would like to see justice done to this regime, and I share their sentiments. But it’s politics, and it is a chess match. A good chess match looks long, tedious and boring, but a true master has patience and foresight. He has to use those qualities, even if the opponent can barely play Candyland.

Issa has been setting things up one move at a time. There is still plenty of time before the election for this to play out one blow by blow. Those who say Congress won’t impeach are correct; while Congress might vote Articles of Impeachment, there is no way 0bama or Holder lose the trial in the democrat controlled Senate. So the democrats who say F & F is all political are correct, because the political remedy of the election in November is the only remedy available.
