I would have to say that Obama's decision to invoke "Executive Privilege" on these DOJ documents is a tacit acknowledgement that Obama was directly involved in "Fast and Furious" decisions and policies.
It would be consistent with his alleged modus operandi in conducting the RPV attacks on terrorists. Remember that he "is directly involved" in selecting targets for the strikes. This is another similarity he has to Carter, his desire to micromanage military operations.
