Mitt Romney will beat President Obama in this fall's election, most likely by a substantial margin. There. I said it. I may have a plate full of hat in my future, but I doubt it.
Pundits will give you the usual reasons for a Romney victory, but it all boils down to two things: first, Romney took the time to build an organization and second, and most important, he wants to win. Tea Party patriots and constitutional conservatives would be smart to learn a lesson from this.
While many conservatives were swooning over the latest firebrand candidate to carry their cause, Romney was already running out the clock before the game even started. Since before the 2008 election, he has been steadily building a campaign Team, networking, collecting endorsements and raising money. He knew how the system worked and used it to his advantage. The Tea Party movement has only been in existence since 2009, and then made the mistake of not coalescing behind a single candidate early enough in the race to counter Romney. We swung for the fences and struck out. Team Romney took walks, stole bases, hit singles and scored runs. The lesson that needs to be taken from this is that the Tea Party must start building their bench right now in order to have one of their own win the presidency. Although there are some admired personalities, none of them possessed what it took to beat Romney.

Like Rush has been saying, Romney's campaign is NOT the McIgnorant campaign. McIgnorant was slow to respond, really didn't want to win, and when the enemy was attacked by allies, McIgnorant retreated and apologized. In a word, he was a pussy.
Romney, for all the brill cream and suit and tie look he exudes, realizes Obamugabe is not going to go quietly...and Romney is willing to let Trump be Trump, Tea Partiers be Tea Partiers, and will use his war chest to battle the Kenyan Communist tooth and nail.
I believe, for the first time since 1980, that we have a Republican candidate who WANTS to defeat the Demonrat, and if that means getting a little mud flung, bring it on.

Indeed. Romney isn’t getting any vote from me. I’d rather take my chances with majorities in the House and Senate to counter an Obama second term which, if countered correctly at every turn, could very well turn out to be less destructive than a Romney presidency with an approving majority in the Legislative branch.
We’re in a post constitutional era for the foreseeable future anyway until the Tea Party can field a candidate worthy of restoring the Constitution.

Didn’t watch the video, I’ve got a good idea what they said though.. BUT everyone, and I mean everyone, at least those who asked for and listened to Gods guidance, knew who Obama was in 08.
Why would the church change horses in the middle of the stream? It’s precisely the very same horse with the same goals?

If Romney becomes the president, it will be as a result of Obama beating himself...
If Romney squeaks out a victory despite exit polling that showed conservatives stayed home, conservatism is finished. No GOP politician will ever feel the need to pander to conservatives again.
Those who plan on sitting this one out, voting for Virgil Goode or some other such nonsense might want to think about this.
That ad DOES NOT SAY: VOTE ROMNEY. There is no issue or criticism in that ad that does not apply every bit as much to the Massachusetts trashbag as to Obozo. Give the pom poms a rest.

Me thinks many black ‘evangelicals’ also did not ask for, nor follow Gods guidance in ‘08. Will they in ‘12? I know one who likely will not again...
You couldn't be more wrong. If you want to have an honest discussion you can't just make up extreme statements and present them as facts. Just a few off the top issues that come to mind where their positions are diametrically opposed include: Keystone pipeline, killing babies that survive abortions, eliminating coal mining, Marxist supreme court justices, and killing Obamacre.
The most dangerous aspect is that ABOers are risking a landslide for Romney. Man o manischevitz, if that happened, you'd hear ABOers screaming bloody murder as Obama became forgotten one year into Romney's term and his landslide being acted upon as if it was an enthusiastic popular mandate for Romney's progressivism: "This is clearly what the voters overwhelmingly voted FOR!" And it would be TRUE.
And as Romney, joined by moderate Republicans and Democrats, steamrolled conservatives' objections and advanced heavy-handed cap-and-trade, etc. etc., crestfallen ABOers would be saying, "B-b-b-b-but ... we meant to vote against Obama!"
There is no voting "against." There is only voting FOR, whether one likes it or not. I will be voting FOR splitting the vote into such a plurality that whichever authoritarian statist wins, enters office with his political enemies in both his own and the opposing party knowing that he was REJECTED by most Americans. I will vote third party to vote FOR putting the next statist president on defense. Romney is a demonstrated authoritarian statist on FIVE major fronts, from global warming to government-run health care.
I will be voting FOR making whichever statist wins, as weak and embattled as possible.
People who vote FOR Romney will be voting FOR the advance of liberalsim, no matter how they rationalize it as being a vote "against" it.
That you believe Romney is "diametrically opposed" in principle to all those items you mention, is pure wishful thinking and willful self-deceit. Anyone -- anyone -- looking at Romney's record not knowing his political party affiliation, would identify him as a Democrat. There are no "extreme statements" at work in Romney's record nor his recent statments/actions on global warming and the gay agenda. Romney says many things -- but he consistently does only one: ADVANCE THE LIBERAL AGENDA.
