I didn’t find the Ellen ads offensive, except for the knowledge that she is “out and proud.” However, my kids could watch that ad and not know anything about it.
However the “Father”’s Day and “Mother’”s day ads were very “in your face.”
I guess I missed them. I don’t look at the Penney’s ads because there’s no Penney’s where I live.
And I almost never see tv ads because I tape everything and fast forward through the ads.
But ... I dunno. Surely there is some better reason that Penney’s is doing poorly.
I can’t believe people stopped shopping there because of some ads.
Maybe I’m wrong.
