Actually, I think this was a very good thing to do. They were trying to make a point for the public good. ;-)
What point? "Look at this paleface, trying to horn in on our Preferred Victim benefits! Cheater!!!"?
Even if they had a better point, such as, "All distribution of jobs, votes, and money based on race or ethnicity is pernicious and un-American," I think the point has already been made to anyone who is willing to pay attention.
