A Long term solution is enforcing our immigration laws PERIOD.
If the order is unconstitutional, why won’t Romney overturn it?
In other words, Romney's plan will be even more sweeping.
FUMR
2016 can’t come soon enough - no matter who is in the White House.
The Congress is going to tie this mess up in the courts. I heard it from a US Congressman yesterday in a face-to-face conversation.
The "Republican" candidate is OK with a tyrannical, un-Constitutional edict.
What's to vote for?
git it on with steve king’s lawsuit, enough of the commie lawlessness. romney is pathetic, Newt has it going with real dreamers dreamin’ about following the Constitution.
Obama’s looking better and better - as long as he’s restrained by GOP majorities in both houses. If Romney becomes prez, he’ll use Democratic minorities and GOP centrists to get his liberal legislation passed. Whereas Obama provides no political cover for GOP turncoats in Congress.
If they know a young person is in the country illegally, because their parents brought them here illegally; then, can we deport the parents, because obviously they are in the country illegally?
Congress remains silent too. And they’ve had their prerogatives stripped from them.
When a conservative looks to a liberal for solutions, either conservatism has failed utterly or the conservative has abandoned his beliefs. No other option.
In reporting the story of Obama’s unconstitutional action, it’s continually said that the government will stop deporting the young illegals who fall into this Dream Act category. That’s just ignorant, or deliberately dishonest reporting because they had already reduce deportations to nothing but known criminals and few others.
Once again, Obama has everybody talking about something not the economy.
He’s actually pretty good at this...and the msm is only too happy to help.
Romney’s smart not to let Obama change the political discussion away from Obama’s horrid economy, and record as the POTUS. Obama despertely needs to muddle the waters if he has any chance at all for re-election.
Much as I dislike Romney, I must say that he is doing the right thing in Campaign 2012 by keeping the focus on Obama’s dismal record.
Don’t get drawn into playing to Obama’s gambit. Stay focused upon what Obama and his supermajority Congress of Pelosi and Reid have done to the fabric of this nation.
Immigration policy, despite Obama’s recent EO, is the perogative of the Congress. Make sure we get as Conservative a Congresss as we can in 2012 so that we can hold the President’s feet to a blazing fire of Conservatism.
For crying out loud. It was a smoke and mirrors trap for votes. There is absolutely no reason for Romney to comment on this pandering crap until after the election.
It’s time for the PAC’s to get hard core and go after the W0N every time he opens his foul mouth.
Oh wait, Romney has never been conservative, why would I expect that?
Obama is pulling his strings like a puppet. He KNEW Mitt wouldn't take a stand against him. Weak, impotent, coward. Mitt is making John Kerry look strong.
Suddenly, I feel less motivated to make it to the polls in November.
But he’s our conservative hope! /s
“Those people who’ve come here illegally and are in this country, the 12 million or so who are here illegally, should be able to sign up for permanent residency or citizenship”——————Mitt Romney, “Meet the Press”, 2007
If we just agree with the democrats than we won't have these bi-partisan conflicts anymore!
So lets just sweep this issue under the rug because the Democrats feel threatened by it.
